Who Is This?
People who came here from Squenix and Fractura ((GJ)) back when I had Daj there will remember this one...
He'll remember a few people ((like Lady, Sellz, Selphie)), as well as the events of these two former communities. He'll remember the Temen-Ni-Gru, the Hamster Dance computer virus, and Spotted Octopus Fever, amongst other things. He'll also remember when he was being taken over by Sephiroth. That's where this Kadaj's story ended.
Since Arcadia's Sephiroth is a different one altogether, things will have to be different. This Kadaj will have experienced a 'cleansing' of sorts... one brought on by his own momentum, and desire to rid himself of the parasite that had attempted to control him. As you might remember, the Kadaj from Squenix/Fractura was a clone of Sephiroth, and none too happy about it. My plan is to say he disappeared during the course of being 'taken over' by the spirit of the SOLDIER legend, ending up in a self-inflicted stasis of sorts within the Lifestream. He emerges as a spirit ((so we're back on track with Advent Children's Kadaj)), now free from Sephiroth, and returns to the place he felt most comfortable -- i.e., in university, amongst people he knows, and where he felt the most human, and a part of society. He'll recognize the Sephiroth roaming Arcadia, but it won't be the same as the one who possessed him previously. Hiccups in the Nexus, and all that.
Happily, none of this is really going to have a huge impact on anyone here. I just needed to bridge the gap between then and now, and make it clear where this guy is coming from. He's still psychotic, still amused by the misfortune of others, and still obnoxious.
Mun can be reached at Pirate du Ciel on AIM
Kadaj is the property of Square Enix, not me. This is a role-play journal for
arcadia_rpg.
